The book "Would you like to dance?"
|
"The book "Would you like to dance?" has been continually developed since its first release in the mid 90`es. The fifth edition was recently issued and we have included below an excerpt from the introduction:
Development from social to competitive to art
The past produced an unorganized way of teaching; the future will now use an organized system of teaching. The principle of this system is not to prove it to be right or wrong, but merely a guideline for dancers to find their own way through the maze of knowledge and information. It must also be pointed out that it does not try to prove or disprove all other system of dance already in existence. It is indeed a must that the student has mastered the social teaching before attempting to master the complicated timings and movements in this system.
The system was developed with the help of many teachers and even more competitors. To them I shall be eternally grateful.
