Where are we
Our studio, DANCE ACADEMY, was opened in August 2004, and is situated in Hørsholm, ½ hour’s drive from the centre of Copenhagen, with trains leaving every 20 minutes from the local station called Rungsted Kyst.
We have a lovely sprung floor of 152 m2, where you will be able to enjoy the privacy of the lessons as well as being able to practice whenever the studio is available.
We will do our utmost to make your stay as pleasurable as possible.
Lessons
A private lesson is 45 minutes and the price for one lesson is 90 euros (Amateur) 100 euros (professionals).
Accommodation:
Quite close to our studio there are several options for accommodation:
Bed & Breakfast:
Spacious, very clean double room in private house with sea view and own entrance. Two rooms available with one bathroom. Colour TVs in both rooms.
Cost per night per room:
Danish kr. 400(normal size room)
Danish kr. 500 (very large room)
Breakfast: Danish kr. 40 per person per day.

Prices are around 900 Danish kroner per night per double room including breakfast, and we will, of course, try to negotiate the best price for you, once we know your length of stay.
Where to eat
There is a wide selection of places to eat with menus and prices that vary a great deal. Anything from pizza/pasta, Chinese and Thai food to more sophisticated restaurants with 5 course meals and even two sushi restaurants are close at hand. Upon your arrival we will provide you with an information sheet which will guide you through the various options and give you an indication of prices.
Local currency
The local currency in Denmark is DANISH KRONER, and the exchange rate is approx. 7.5 kroner to 1 Euro.
Sightseeing
If you want go and explore Denmark a bit, Copenhagen is only ½ hour south of us, and very easy to get to whether you go by train, bus or car.
You can also go north, which will take you to Helsingør, with its castle made famous by Shakespeare´s HAMLET, and from where you can take a 20 minute boat ride to Sweden.
Or Humlebæk, with its world famous art museum LOUISIANA.
